Thomas Markel, Chairman and CEO

Tom Markel is the founder and CEO of Virtrue Capital Corporation www.ibank.com. America's largest online small business financing network with 350,000 small business members and 10,000 new small business joining monthly. Mr. Markel is also founder and CEO of Credentrust Software, Inc www.credentrust.com. Mr. Markel, in 1995, founded the largest mortgage REIT on the American Stock Exchange ("IMH"). The REIT grew to more than $1.7 billion in assets by August 1997, when Mr. Markel sold his interest in the Advisor to Imperial Credit Industries, Inc. He was formerly Senior Vice President of Lepercq Capital Partners, a New York City-based investment bank. Mr. Markel was the initial founding board member, former chairman and currently serves on the board of directors of Feeding America Food Bank in Orange County. He is a member of the Order of Malta and Legatus International.

Helene Wilson, COO

Mrs. Markel is founder a member of Legatus International and is active in various parish ministries within her parish.

Brooke Kline, CTO

Brooke Kline has 15 years experience in the software development industry.  He previously worked with Sanchez Computer Associates where he organized, managed, and developed client/server components for large-scale legacy system replacements and start-up internet banking web sites.  He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Minor in Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems at University of Phoenix.

Ron Blake, Senior Business Development Manager - Partners

Ron Blake is a former senior executive with Southern California Edison. He has served on boards in banking, government and community service. Most recently he served as CEO of Habitat for Humanity-Orange County. Formerly he was Executive Director- California Association of Food Banks and Director-Second Harvest Food Bank-Orange County.
