One of the most important things to consider as a small business owner is the culture that you create in the day to day interactions between everyone who works with, for and because of you. How people work together, communicate with each other, resolve conflict and feel included in the vision of the company will ALWAYS be felt and understood by your clients as the culture of your business. You may feel that it’s all about the tangibles – your product and the science of the flow of money and services – but the intangible culture is what drives the ‘mind/heart’ of your business and affects the long term bottom line.
It’s time to T.H.I.N.K. about the culture of your business. In team meetings, retreats or inspirational sales gatherings you might be able to use this acronym for the word think when discussing how to develop a culture of success and balance in inner office communications.

H – Is it helpful?
I – is it inspiring
N – Is it necessary?
K – Is it kind
