Angel Investor Networks

Angel investor networks are groups of (generally wealthy) private individuals who pool their money to invest in a new business looking for start-up capital. Angel investors often come together in groups to share and offset the risks of investing capital in a new and unproven business. An angel investor network will usually invest up to two million dollars in a new business.

Different angel investor networks focus on different types of businesses to invest in. Many will only invest in technology-related companies, due to their potential for high yield. Many angel investor networks base their investments on geographical location, which can also affect they type of businesses they will invest in.

Typically, angel investor networks have between 100 and 200 investors, but they may have 600 or more, or as few as 10. The size of the network often dictates how much they are willing to invest, but not always. Some small to mid-sized angel networks will invest up to six million dollars, while some of the larger ones may only go up to one or two million.

With iBank.com's Capital Center, a small business can find an angel investor network for investments of all sizes, from a few thousand dollars to a few million. Registering with ibank.com allows a business to find angel networks locally, with a specific interest in what that particular business has to offer.

iBank.com will help guide a new business owner through the process of applying to an angel investor network and presenting the business to them for consideration for investment. iBank.com will also help secure that investment. Register with iBank.com today.
